Hot Wings

Ingredients :

Preparation :
Follow instructions for Pilarcita’s Pollo Asado Marinade (Hot & Spicy) substituting 2 lbs. of chicken wings for the boneless chicken. After marinating 4 to 8 hours, pour wings and marinade into shallow roasting pan and bake at 425 for 45 minutes. Turn the heat to broil and broil about 5 minutes for added crispness. Remove from marinade and serve.

Note :
For the grill – discard marinade and grill wings over open flame until desired doneness.


Spicy Appetizer Shrimp

Ingredients :

Preparation :
Pour Pilarcita’s Carne Asada Marinade (Hot & Spicy), 1 lb uncooked unpeeled medium to large shrimp and ˝ cup of water into a large resalable bag. Mix well; this will form a thick paste. Refrigerate and marinate 4 hours or over night. Bring 4 cups of water to a rapid boil in a large pot. Add shrimp and boil 3-5 minutes or until shrimp is pink. Drain water and rinse shrimp briefly as not to rinse away all of the chilies. Peel, eat and enjoy!

 

Spicy Appetizer Shrimp (Another version )

Ingredients :
- 1 lb medium or large cooked shrimp.
- 4 T. Pilarcita’s Mexican Seasoning (hot or original).
- Juice of one lemon.
- Fresh cilantro .


Preparation :
Mix 4 tablespoons of seasoning with the cooked shrimp; add lemon juice, cilantro, and ˝ cup water. Refrigerate and marinate 2 hours. Remove shrimp from marinade and serve as an appetizer with toothpicks.

 

Spicy Cocktail Sauce

Ingredients :
- 1 cup ketchup.
- 1 Tbsp worchester sauce.
- 1tsp horse radish.
- 2Tbsp Pilarcitas hot & spicy seasoning and juice of half a lemon. .


Preparation :
Mix all ingerdients and serve

Note :
This is good with oysters on the half shell or you can use it with any shellfish dish.
